We started the Deary Recreation Foundation in 2020 with a simple goal in mind: to create opportunities for recreation in Deary that makes it easy for people to connect with others who share their interests and passions. We support activities that enhance visiting, working and living in our small community.

Our foundation believes that building a strong and supportive community is key to our success. We want to create a place where citizens and visitors of all ages have opportunity to enjoy the things that make us welcoming and unique. We have projects in the works that enhance a sense of belonging and connection.

We are currently fundraising for a GEORGE HATLEY STATUE to donate to the city park. In addition, ongoing input and donations are accepted for the Whitcomb Activity Field. The City of Deary is working on a downtown revitalization and we are at the table as well. JOIN US!
